As part of its second phase, the Xinglong Coffee Theme Park adds an outdoor space of over 3,000 square meters that blends a tropical rainforest vibe with a coffee machinery exhibition. Dongshanling, located just 2 kilometers east of Wanning City, rises to over 180 meters above sea level. It’s also one of Hainan’s most historic Buddhist sites.

With a legacy dating back to the Tang and Song dynasties, Dongshanling is home to several ancient temples and monasteries. Among them, Chaoyin Temple is especially renowned. It was built to honor Li Gang, a heroic general who resisted the Jin Dynasty during the Southern Song period.

This includes the Precious and Endangered Southern Medicinal Herb Garden, the Hainan Specialty Medicinal Herb Garden, the Original Ecological Medicinal Herb Garden, and the Imported Southern Medicinal Herb Garden. It is currently one of the leading research institutions in the country for collecting and preserving southern medicinal plant resources.
